Working with MD Concrete was surprisingly easy! Moises is gracious, paced with me and explained how the concrete pouring would work. I'd gotten three other estimates, and his quote was not the lowest, but I felt more confident in working with his company than with the other three. I had to reschedule twice due to other construction delays, and Moises took it all in stride. With a scheduled date and time (this Monday with the rain!), Enrique, who was in charge, arrive QUITE early. Enrique delayed the work to 9 am to prevent making too much noise, then he and his crew demo'd the old walkways, patio, moved and stacked the bricks (!), and began framing. He was very considerate about how I wanted the concrete in the end. When the pour date arrived (in fact just this Wednesday!), it all went very smoothly. Tomorrow, Thursday, is when the framing all come out. Enrique said he'd even cut down the temporary wooden steps I used into smaller pieces to put into the greens bin.
